[Dailydrool] Heidi ATB

Dear Droolers.

It is will intense pain and sorrow that I have to tell you that my beloved Heidi, the wonder beagle, left me for the rainbow bridge on July 13.  Heidi was 16 years, 6 months old and her health had been failing for quite some time.  She was the only dog in my house that wasn't a rescue and had been with me since she was 8 weeks old.  She and I spent many happy hours in obedience and agility classes.  She was a Canine Good Citizen, my shadow, a faithful companion and the love of my life.  To make this basset related, she graciously shared my affection with many foster bassets as well as the resident basset hounds.  Even with 3 bassets and a greyhound, the house is so empty without her. I know she was greeted at the bridge by Millie, my basset and Skiddy Girl, my greyhound.  Hug your houndies a little more today, they are never with us long enough!
