Dear Becky and Reed,

I can remember hearing about Purple when you've talked about your hounds, 
and always loved the name - just Purple.  I thought it was wonderful.   I'm 
so sorry that she left you so suddenly.

Please accept our condolences. I'm sure that she left you with many, many 
happy memories, but 10 1/2 is just too young to leave.  I'm sorry.
