[Dailydrool] What does your dog weigh?

I don't know how many people remember our Augie Doggie it's been years, but
he was the largest basset in the world!  Really!  He was perfectly
proportioned but just huge. He weighed  almost 90 lbs. It was as if he'd
been at Chernoble(sp) and gotten zapped.  Almost everyone who saw him the
first time said, "Oh, my God!"  We thought maybe we should have named him
that.:)    He was our first basset (from a backyard breeder.  We didn't know
any better at the time) and we thought he was a normal size.  When we got
his sister Sophie who WAS normal we thought she was a midget!  We asked a
very well-known breeder if Sophie was abnormally small.  She looked at us
like we were crazy!  We must have been!  We went on line and the Drool to
ask if anyone had a basset as large as Augie Doggie.  Nobody did.  He was
the largest basset in the world.  

We started Michigan Basset Rescue so I guess we got a LITTLE smarter!  Does
anyone remember our Augie Doggie?  We hope to see your weekend after next at
the WADDLE,
