I gave Ada a treat that goes over really really well here, those granola
crusted busy bones, to keep her busy while I continue to prep for the
movers (OMG... 2 more days!). All goes somewhat well. I've taken to
keeping her leashed to the massive pine coffee table if there is any
chance of me opening the front door. So just to be the little character
that she is, grabs all the cat beds and piles them around her and grabs
the biggest bone she can find after the busy bone has disappeared.
Of course she dared me to take a picture:

The next morning I woke up to the sound of a screaming chick that had
gotten loose in the yard and a really nasty smell.... Lets just say
that busy bone didn't agree with Ada! Yuck. I finally get the crate
cleaned and decide to turn the hose of little miss stinky but she wasn't
having it. I eventually slipped a lead on her, dragged her filthy dirty
butt back inside and to the tub where it takes a half hour to clean her off.
She sits in the spare crate to dry off for an hour or so but instead of
laying on the nice big poofy dry towel she bunches it up in the corner.
The second I let her out for a pee break she dives into the first pile
of sand she can. Back to being a dirty dog. I'm thinking she doesn't
do clean.

Today she decided that she needed to attempt to pull the coffee table
with her, she got it about 3 feet closer to the table. Close enough for
her to jump on a chair and proceed to knock everything off the kitchen
table then sit there like she owned it!

I'm telling ya...... she's going to be a fun one.

I'm worried about her hearing. It's obvious she has very limited
hearing on one side but I'm thinking it's not that good on the other
either. She's learning the hand signals really well but totally ignores
anything verbal unless I raise my voice. Which does happen a lot around
here with this herd, I have a partially deaf and completely annoying cat
that gets yelled at all the time. When she does hear me she cowers and
does the whole submissive pee thing.
