Hi all, Snoopy here,

Well, I hope you had a happy Mothers Day!! Everyone here got momPerson
something. When I realized my error I ran out of the room and came charging
back .... with .... tada ... a mouth full of trash from the bathroom. Happy
Mothers day from Snoopy!! Well ... dadPerson STOLE the present so I went and
got more and then Julianne decided it was a good idea to empty the trash and
stop the cycle.

My 4 month gotcha day is coming up this Thursday and so I thought you might like
an update on the slave training around here (basically they are hopeless).

Lately things have been very smooth, um, except when they're not. Like the dog
park. I just love the dog park. My favorite part is playing tag. I now only
ahrooo about half the time (down for the entire time) and I will generally greet
a dog and then go on with my business, rather than fixating on one dog ...
unless ... I want to play tag with him/her. I don't do the play bow thing.
Play bow is for other dogs, not for Snoopy .... I charge up and AHROOOOO right
in their face and then lunge at them and then back up ... I'm hoping they'll run
and I can chase them or else if they start to chase me I run and then stop and
then they run and it's great. Once we get the game going everything is fine
.... but sometimes the dog doesn't understand what I'm doing. There is a husky
at the dog park sometimes that loves chase. And a border collie and a portugese
water dog and a few more too. But, if I can't find any of those I'll pick one
who looks fast. Last week I saw a boxer that looked pretty fast ... but he
didn't want to play ... so I yelled louder and louder and momPerson and Cyrus
came running from the other end of the park and Cyrus got in between us .... and
we went home. And then on Wednesday there was this Rottwieler and he looked
really fast too but as soon as I yelled in his face ..... clip ... leash on and
we went home. And then Friday there was this Rodhesian Ridgeback and momPerson
kept saying leave Murphy ALONE .... and I did (mostly) but momPerson says I bear
watching. Hurmph!

I'm also very good on lead now, unless I all of a sudden see another dog (or
two) in which case I might pull Natalie over and go charge up to them and
AHROOOO to say hello (true story) and upset my people. Good thing the neighbors
have a sense of humor, this is twice now.

And then there are my perfect manors. momPerson was scolding Julianne for
leaving her teddy bears all over the family room floor. They were slobbered on.
 Julianne was framed.

I almost never turn around and scream at Cyrus and chase him out the dog door
because I smell food anymore.

I have been (almost) perfect about momPerson's rather extensive flower beds.
momPerson has some flowers in some beds that she planted more than 10 years ago
... like delphinium and fox glove (yes, she knows about the fox glove it's back
in a corner) and bleeding hearts and fancy dahlias and bearded Iris .... stuff
that has been in the ground a long time and is just HUGE when it raises up every
year. This year they are all up and blooming and all of the annuals for borders
are in and all of the veggie beds too and I stay out of the beds ... except her
bearded Iris .... I snapped off the blooms, not chewed, snapped ... but all the
rest is fine. I don't dig either. JOY. Neither does Cyrus. Mud between the
toe pads is too yucky. momPerson says she's never seen anything like it.

Hope you got a mouthful of bathroom trash from your houndie for mothers day!!
 What could be better??

More later from Snoopy
