[Dailydrool] fertilizer

When Jeff does put stuff down in the back yard, we always make sure that
we do it when they are calling for a lot of rain.
I don't like to take chances.  We also try to keep the dogs away from
the granules as much as possible.

We don't use a lot of fertilizer though.  Once a year, in the spring.
Fortunately we've never had problems.
But I am a freak about it once it is in the grass and he knows to do a
very light layer to keep be from being too neurotic.  :-)

Now it is even lighter because we have well water and I'm always nagging
about what goes into the yard and how much because of both the dogs and
the water supply.

maybe put up some of that cheap temporary landscape fencing (the green
wire stuff) to help keep the houdies out of that section until it is
diluted.

I even worry about what would happen if they accidentally sniff
it....(I'm probably the wrong person to ask about this stuff, but just
my 2 cents worth).
