[Dailydrool] New foster girls

Well, I've had my two new foster sisters a week and besides a couple of
tussles (because Quincy doesn't like to share & Annie is the dominant
female of her pack) and a couple of snarks, having 4 bassets in the house
in just going great! I tell you, these two 3-year-old sisters are just a
delight. They are adorable, sweet, loving, well-behaved, and did I mention
loving? Luckily, Quincy had his one-year vet appointment on Friday because
these 3 love playing outdoors. They run, they wrestle, they roll, and they
come in the house covered in dust and leaves. On the way to the vet Friday,
I noticed Quincy's eye was all red and running so when doc looked at his
eyes, there was a little piece of grit under his third eyelid. No wonder!
And it makes me laugh because the 3 of them will play like crazy and my old
girl, Cleo, is sitting off to the side watching them. She's never been much
of a player and luckily the pack leaves her alone, for the most part. And
when I'm out walking all 4 of them (yes, all 4 at once), people drive by
and I can see them laughing. Except for a few leash tangles, they walk like
a great little pack. These girls are just precious and I'm loving having
them. Nothing like basset love! Drool to all in need.
