[Dailydrool] Once upon a time

There were three little Basset Boys, Nigel, Llewis and Conley.
Due to nothing they did (I don't THINK), the human potty got messed up and
the plumbing didn't work and men with big strong muscles (one of them) came
out for several days and dug holes and ran noisy machinery and got all dirty
and piled up all the dirt in the front yard.
This morning after everything was fixed and working again so the peepels
didn't have to go out into the forest to potty (No they didn't really) the
DadPerson decided to go downtown which means on the train to Chicago his
most favorite place next to his chair in the living room with Nigel on his
lap.

Too late MomPerson realised the door was not shut tight.
Three little Basset boys were in the front yard playing King of the Wet Clay
Mountain.
They were easy to catch because their feet were mired in the clay.
MomPerson does not have photos because she was busy pounding her head
against the mountains of cardboard boxes still unpacked in the house.

The three little Basset Boys were dismayed to find that the water from the
hose in back was like, ice cold. And worse, MomPerson gave a s--t.
The three little Basset Boys are inside now and drying off in their crates,
(with the heat on) from which they may never be allowed to leave.
The real villian of the piece is of course the DadPerson who didn't check to
be sure the door was shut tight. MomPerson is making plans for him upon his
return, but none of this is going to ever be written down anywhere.

MomPerson is revising her plan to clean the kitchen cupboard and keep all of
DadPerson's souvenier glasses and shot glasses and mugs that he has saved.
She is thinking GARBAGE.
We, the three Basset boys, do not like the look on her face, or the way she
is rubbing her hands together and giggling.
