[Dailydrool] Allergies

I have given a lot smaller bassets 50 mg of Benadryl 2-3 times a day with no problems.  Also, dogs usually don't have the side effect of fatigue that humans have with it because they metabolize it differently.

Benadryl has a very wide margin of safety as well.  So don't worry and up the dose to 50 mg 2-3 times a day.  I am really surprised you saw any benefit at all on 25 mg.

Jennifer, momslave to Beauford and Bugsey (I am only 54 pounds and I take 2 Benadryl 2 times a day all the time, but I demand them to be in ½ a pill pocket-yum!)
