[Dailydrool] Pearl's surgery, details (long)

Special drool to Pearl from the Bounders. 

Our very first Basset into Senior Houndsabound was a little old gal, I named
Dallas.  Dallas had oral fistulas too.   We had to go to an oral specialists
over in Tampa for her 3 surgeries.(flaps did not take).    She ended up,
after all was said and done, and after a "routine dental,  having about 12
teeth left.  Her mouth was the worst I had ever seen, but think Pearl has
Dallas beat.  Dallas's surgeries,  even with the specialist giving GREAT
discounts on the 2nd and 3rd surgeries ended up at around 5,000.   I
lovingly called her my money pit.  She was so much happier after her mouth
was fixed, she gained weight and developed a lovely little Basset belly
which we all loved on each time she would flop over for us.  Was worth every
dime to see her happy.  Sadly we lost her a couple years ago due to
cutaneous lymphoma.

Looking forward to hearing Pearl is up and about!
