[Dailydrool] Getting a Puppy

This is Bugsey. I know I am chiming in way late, but I have been rather busy with the buppy. That is what makes me an expert on the topic of what you need when getting a puppy. You need patience, patience, and more patience with a big dash of sense of humor. You also need a case of paper towels and a gallon of enzymatic cleaner like Nature's Miracle or KOE. Buppys are very messy. When they aren't so busy playing that they forgeet to go to the door to go to the bathroom, they are getting drinks and getting water eveerywhere. Plus, they forget they have puppy teeth and they put little tears in your ear and then you bleed all over the place. All these messes require lots and lots of paper towels. You also need lots of toys so you can encourage the rug rat to bite the toys instead of your ears. Mom got Browyn special puppy nylabones, but they have to stay in her crate because Beauford tries to eat them and swallow them and that isn't good. So when she isn't in her crate, she steals my dental dinosaur which is too hard for puppy teeth. It is for big boys with big teeth like me, but she doesn't listen. Mom just got out more dental dinosaurs so I wouldn't bite the puppy. I have more sense than that. I have already learned. If you make the Browyn cry even on accident, Beauford bites me...HARD. So I have to be extra nice to her. Which is okay most of the time. Sometimes she wants to lay in mom's lap during MY lap time. So she lays on me. I haven't decided if I like this or not. But, get lots and lots of toys. And remember that no buppy's are allowed in anyone else's food bowl. That is why mom puts a gate between us and she gets fed last. Otherwise she would eat her food and then go steal Beauford's food. Beauford could do that, but he is too polite and he likes his ears.

Patience, patience, patience. Paper towels. Toys. Don't forget!
