Our bassets thought Wolfgang (atb) how to countersurf.  Silly shepherd
kept his head at the same height as a basset's.  I guess he didn't
realize that he could stand completely up.  I think the bassets' plans
were that Wolfgang could reach food items that they couldn't on the
counter.  It backfired though - Wolfgang didn't share food.

I still remember a few times Wolfgang walking around the kitchen with
a knife in his mouth.  He would carry it by the handle with the blade
facing out. I joked that I was okay with Wolfgang carrying a knife as
long as he didn't graduate to handguns.
