[Dailydrool] Bassets and Knives

While reading about bassets running with knives and scissors on DD I thought I have to chime in. Our middle boy Roy has been stealing scissors and knives since since puppyhood, he is 4 now. It is a blood curdling sight when he trots proudly with a long serrated bread knife heading to our bedroom where very often we find a variety of strange objects on our bed :) He looks like a pirate holding the knife by the handle with the sharp side out. Roy enjoys stealing utensils in general so we  see him passing by with forks, soup spoons, ladles etc. of, course we trot behind him and gently persuade him to give his loot away, which he, being a sweet boy agrees to, giving us a super sad look only. He used to go for scissors only for a while, I was thinking of getting him a t-shirt ‘ runs with scissors’ LOL!
