Yes, on the 22nd our boy has a birthday.  Happy to repawt he is doing well.  This Summer he had a problem like an ACL tear from falling off the ottoman in his sleep.  He had a couple rounds of meds and a relapse, but you would never know it now.  We had fixed up a ramp to get him out to the front yard to do his business, and that helped a lot.  I had a knee replacement last month, and was dreading him having to do steps and use the doggie door.  He has had no problems, thank doG.  Feel I am tempting fate, and want to get him back to using the front yard again as soon as I am able.
We wish all of you a wonderful Christmas!  And a great new year---glad to see this one go, it was about the worst one we have ever had, financially and emotionally.  Houndie hugs from Augie and his dawgmother, Julie from Colorado. (where it is supposed to snow Christmas Eve!)
