[Dailydrool] Joys of Secret Pawtners

Two years ago, my Secret Pawtner was Stephanie Cornell. She, like all my Secret Pawtners, sent me a lovely box of basset crap. I thought I was about to move house at the time, and  In the box  were some bits and pieces I wanted for my new home. I left them in the box.

Two years and much hassle later I have finally moved home. The other night I spied the box. Remembering I had kept some choice bits in it, I opened it up and found two basset signs and a special key fob. I also found Stephanie's letter and photographs.

I sat and looked through them all over again. It was just like getting the box for the first time (although Rolph and Clara have been wearing the lovely martingale collars she sent for the whole two years).

Now the signs are on my new walls, raising a smile whenever I see them.
