I sometimes post an answer publicly and sometimes privately sometimes I
think I talk too much but I never thought someone could sue me for bad
advice, I guess I always figure they will ask thier vet to double check what
I post. I am sure anyone who posts an answer means well and if they are
wrong would feel terrible if someone else's dog got ill from their advice.
I have seen a lot of stuff, never ever a bloat though for which I am
thankful, I have had probably 400 hounds pass through my door and never a
bloat. 400 Hounds and yet every day I read something on the drool I never
knew before the drool is a wealth of knowledge.
I use electronic mouse and bug deterrents they work great on flies and
roaches but not so good on those little ants you get in the Spring. Not sure
how they do on rodents but I have not seen any in my kitchen since I plugged
them in.
I had to get some stuff from an exterminator for the garage, I got holes in
my garage walls from rodens cause I kept the dog food out there and it drew
the mice and chipmunks. So I got metal trash cans with lids and lined them
with heavy duty plastic and open the bags of food and poor them together
into metal cans.
I also got something called contrac blox the exterminator said a dog could
eat one and they would not hurt the dog but I am not taking any chances on
that not sure I trust the exterminator, I do not let the dogs in the part of
the garage where the poison is, they have just a little area in the garage
that we use only when taking them to the car and back that is fenced off
from the rest of the garage so they cannot get near the poison. Usually they
are all in the house or out the back yard and I never put poison in those
areas.
I would love to know what Dale uses.
