[Dailydrool] Calendar Day

Today's calendar day is a shot of the lovebirds.  We got Barney at the  
age of 11 in July of '10.  Unfortunately Lucy went to the Bridge last  
July, after her picture was submitted.  Barney loved Lucy.  He would  
lick Lucy's ears, and she would love it.  It was either love, or total  
submission to the Queen!  As you can see in the picture, Barney was in  
the bed first, and Lucy decided that wouldn't do.  She climbed in and  
is literally sitting on him.  But Barney never seemed to mind.  He  
mourned for about a week, but decided being an only dog wasn't the  
worst thing in the world.  Now he gets to have the dog chair (the  
Queen's throne), which is the epitome of head dog in this household,  
AND both ice cream bowls to lick every night!
