[Dailydrool] Red and White and Grey

How timely the discussion about red and white and gray! I was just looking at my red and white Gigi's dear face yesterday thinking that she seems to have some greying around the eyes. We do not know how old she really is, but I estimate her to be about five. Then again, I used to have red hair and now it has lovely grey streaks. I earned every grey hair on my head so I am not going to cover them up.
 
Low Bed the yellow Bassador is almost completely white in the face but he is around 13 so he comes by it honestly.
 
Vet bills. My vet in Tennessee cheerfully informed me a couple weeks ago that I was the second highest bill for the year 2011. Sad thing is I was not even in Tennessee all year. I was in Dallas with the dogs probably three months, spending at the vet there. AND I have not taken the cats in like I should have been doing. We shall see what 2012 brings. Probably more of the same.
 
We are babysitting the Aussies this week, the puppy is still Big and Stupid. We usually have a noisy Basset Lab Aussie Beagle 500 at least twice a day. We also have several different combinations of Three Dogs One Bone, where one dog has the bone chewing on it and two are right there staring longingly. I have started taking pictures. Fortunately very few fights over the one bone, although Gigi got a little ugly with the Big Stupid One awhile ago. And never mind that there are a dozen other bones in this very room. Not to mention the toy pile. 
 
And now they are campaigning for dinner. Which is not for another hour yet. They get dinner, I get a margarita. Maybe I'll set the clock ahead.
