To Whom It May Concern,
    Do the doctors offer any explanation as to why these boys keep getting recurring UTI's?  Do they make any suggests regarding preventative measures?  cranberry pills?  vitamin C?  anything to acidify the urine?  This is another topic I would consider addressing with a Holistic vet.  I had a girl with recurring intense cystitis--very bloody.  My Holistic vet treated it very effectively and after treatment she went years without recurrence.  When it did recur we repeated the protocol always with months or years of success.  
    Don't think I don't use conventional western vets.  I sure do.  Friday, my sweet basset girl Fancy got a dental and only had to have one tooth removed!  My Newf girl, Maeve also had to have a papaloma (sp) removed from her head.  YIKES!
    I would truly appreciate any dental tips you guys can offer besides conventional brushing which we are now doing that would keep Fancy off the vet's table for another dental.
