[Dailydrool] boots

Living here in New England ,even though no snow yet, we really need boots for Maggie Mildred especially for that horrible salt everywhere. We bought some from petsmart and they are so hard to keep on her feet. Maybe because dogs aren't supposed to wear shoes, I don't know. She hates them and she walks funny and i feel so mean for making her wear them but i have to protect her feet from the salt.  I saw the red ones someone recommended. (sorry, forgot who, my apologies) has anyone else tried these?  Does anyone else from N.E. or any other snowy region have a way to protect their dogs from the salt? Personally, I buy pet friendly salt but most people don't.
