Good January 10, 2012 to everyone. It is raining here in NW Montana, and once again, Molly Bob is standing out in the rain,
like she has 'not a lick of sense in her head'. She loves the rain. I prefer it to snow on the ground, but wet dog, Not so much.
Sending droolies out to the families of Morse, Daisy Mae and Maggie and any others that may need som Ie extra healing drools.
Dudley, run free at the Bridge, you will be good at fitting in, you knew how to make things fit in boxes after all :o).
As for dogs and booze, I had my first Basset, Sherlock back in 1980, we got him at the tender age of about 4 and half weeks. Yes that is right.
he came from a BYB who's female had 13/14 do not remember for sure. any way over that summer and many more to come, my husband and a dear friend
used to sit out on our deck and drink beer. Sherlock, as a puppy would watch them and beg, with strings of drool hanging down from his Sad little face. those dipsticks gave in and would pour a little beer in the grass, it would foam up. Sherlock would lap it up the go lay down. the first time I found out about this, was a few days into this happening, when I came out and heard, the poor hound 'gurking' under Nick's wheelchair. They were chastised and stopped for a while. Over the years though they continued, because, Sherlock would sit and beg, even sitting up 'pretty' for ever if they would not give him a shot of beer foam. once it was on the ground, he would growl at it like it was some bad S*** then lap it up. and off to his nap. This went on for 13 years. now when my DH pops open a Blue Ribbon beer that memory flashes through my mind.
To all that need drools, on the way, to those that need a bit of Love, on the way, Hugs and snooter kisses all around
Aarrrooosss from Molly Bob
