We had to send our beloved Fred to the bridge this morning. 
We are shocked, devastated and can't believe this happened so suddenly.
He was our alpha pack leader, first Basset, he lead us to our wonderful Drool family over 10 years ago and forever changed many lives. Fly free our sweet boy we will see you on the other side.
I will post more after the tears stop flowing.
