[Dailydrool] Fred E Hound ATB

I emailing you on the behalf of Joni Thomas.  

    Joni Texted me at 4:30 this morning saying Fred was really sick and that her and the DH was taking him to the Er vet. I met them there because Fred was the first basset I had ever met and we have always blamed the basset thing on him. What the vet found was a large mass on his spleen that was bleeding plus what looked like other masses on other organs in his belly. The prognosis was not good so they took him back home for the pack to say their good byes. At 9am PST we took him to our favorite vet man and he was help to the bridge. 

   If we could only had seen into the future what Fred started. Fred opened up the world of basset craziness. With out him we wouldn't have the Daily Drool Family, Board waddles, FunDays, Basset Olympics and my Gus(atb), Earl, my Tallulah, Bob-a-licious, Stuie, my Wally(atb) and Jake. Plus opening up our eyes to rescue. 

We were talking about the Fred and Gus and how at first the just fought. We had nick names for them JackA** and Bas*** d  After a while they became the best buds even taking a walk-about the neighborhood with out anyone knowing. Now Gus and Fred can hang together again just watching the world go by. 

   In his 11yrs he opened our minds, made us laugh and introduced us to some of the best people we have ever met. I know Joni will post more later.
