I know that the Bassets at the Bridge are a motley crew, indeed.  Although 
some hounds might enjoy the peace and quiet of country living, there are 
others who are city dogs down to their paws.

Many years ago I went on a cyberjourney to Paris with some hounds and 
houndettes.  I remember that we enjoyed the Opera, the wonderful antique 
stores of that ancient city - and the Casino at Monte Carlo!  We also 
accompanied one of our friends to a rest and rehab home in Switzerland due 
to some overly exuberant celebrating.

The Bridge should be all things to all hounds.  There is room for all 
interests and I, being a well read houndette, certainly hope that there is a 
library.  There are so many books coming out with Basset Hounds as 
characters that we will want to keep up with them.

I think that the Main Street rebuilding will be a great asset to the Basset 
section of the Bridge.  Thank you, Elder Clara, for all the planning and 
work that you have done to make the Bridge an even better place.
