[Dailydrool] Shlepping back the basset crap...who hauled what

I just finished posting about the rather large, wonderful FRAGILE statute I brought back from Florida. It was bubble wrapped, on my lap. Which got me thinking about the time I bid on a giant basset adirondack chair, with footstool at the Mishgun pawction......thought rich was going to kill me, but it did come apart and has been on our front porch for years. (Despite Sharon Scully's repeated threats to make it disappear.......)  I remember daWn of the West hauling a concrete basset back on a plane from Oshun City to California and King George's kay taking a broken basset butler from NJ to Texas...... 



Who else has done a truly impractical, purchase of difficult to transport basset crap? Love a good case of pawction fever!!

....yes, I did once break a statue I won at a picnic in California that I put in my suitcase....shoulda carried it on my lap. 

... only came back with  small stuff at Slobberfest this weekend!
