Dis Brudder Elwood. I bee a writin to let youze know we all otay. Tailpipe liddel ruff todey, but we suckin air. Yes dis aint no fault ob da Brudder youze see--Da Momma dun hab nudder one ob dem moments--she hab lotz ob dem any more--

Las night she bee a gittin da bowl ready fur wee hounds--I bee a watchin--an waitin cause she bee whut she callz doin mor fingz at once dan she needs ta be cause she be on da tellyphone a yappin at Auntie Judy whut gotz all dem dere catz. Dey talkin hairballz, so I knowz it be Aunt Judy---
She git da bowl ob geen beanz out an she heats dem rite up--yap yap yap---smell liddel funny to da Brudder, but nice, whut dey call pungent---so we git in da crate do da chow down ob da vittles--an here she come like basset in da china shop--Elwood--did you eat those beans???
Now whut dis one finkin????
I lookie right down at me bowl--aint nuffin left---gib her nice burb--my ---liddel spice a comin back up, must be dem beanz she bee a lookin for, 
Bout hour later, it heppin. It heppin bout 4 times--all ob we whut ated dem beanz got da gas.
Momma dun gabe wee houndz her beans whut got flabourz, and spice, and sum kinder stuff she meke fur her and Daddy. 
Da plain old nuffin beanz still in da white box-
