[Dailydrool] Still getting the stink eye

OK, the foster girls aren't terribly happy but they don't like empty
tummies so they are "tolerating" it. When they see that nothing else is
forthcoming, it's "all right, I guess we have to eat this crap". Old girl
Cleo and Quincy? Nope, they're still not buying it. I've added a little
beat-up egg and they're licking the egg off the kibble. I've added yogurt
and while Quincy seems to like it, Cleo does not. Now this is a dog who
will suck down an ice cream cone faster than any dog I've ever seen. Maybe
she doesn't like the vanilla yogurt, so I will try some plain. And she
doesn't seem to like either pumpkin or sweet potatoes.

The last couple of mornings, I've seen Cleo go outside first thing in the
morning, eat some grass, and act like she's throwing up a little bit. Maybe
I'm trying to integrate different kibbles too quickly. I have tried a
couple of different ones lately to see if they'll "take" to them but I
think it's too much for her little old system. Maybe I'm trying too hard,
but I just want them (especially Cleo) to eat. And I've really cut back on
treats, but when I offer Cleo her pill in a pill pocket, or a couple of
those low-fat pupperonis, she wolfs them down so I KNOW she has an
appetite. And believe me, this is a girl who's a regular at the vet because
of her Cushings and she's had bloodwork and even a few months ago, a clean
ultrasound and x-rays of her tummy, pancreas, and bowels for any
obstructions (shoot, I forget what prompted this but I was worried about
something). Crap, I think I'm a hypochondriac for my dog! But with her
going on age 12, whenever she farts the wrong way, I worry.
