This is FrankieBernard, Ensign First Class in the PBF reporting in to share a few thoughts -- from me and my Mom.

We LOVE the idea of adapting children's tee shirts for me to wear. Mom is doing a "Basset Camp" this summer for a few kiddlings in the neighborhood and she is thinking of appropriate tee shirts and caps fo reach of the youngsters. And since I am the focal point of the activities to teach them the basics about dog care and play...why not a shirt for me???? Thanks, Val, for the hints on how to alter for thsoe of us who have huge brickets and tiny waists.

Also, we'd like to send out condolences on the loss of Dalton. What a sad, sad depressing story. Double drools and payers.

Also, I wanted to let you all know that since we've offered to donate $1.00 of our royalties for each copy of our book, The Basset Chronicles, sold to the Western Missouri Basset Rescue, we've raised almost $10.00...not much, but it's a start. And I am sure they could use a bit more, especially to help with the care of Buster. So, if you're interested in learning how Bassets really were created and reading about a true-life Basset hero, among other stories, please order your copy at either www.createspace.com/3691774 or on amazon.com (search for the book title).

Mom also "just" published one about cats, of all things. Phew-phewy-barf-barf. However, if any of you bowsers out there had a feline friend, like I do, you might like to get a copy. Of course, I am in a few of the stories, too. The title is Cats of Nine Tales and like my book, you can buy it directly from the publisher/distributor at www.createspace.com/372935 or on amazon.

Oh-ho...speaking of ears, here comes Mom with the cotton balls and ear cleaning stuff. Guess I'm in for it, now! Thanks for the reminder, guys. I'll be good this time and not try and nip her arm as she cleans...maybe afterwards we'll take a stroll around the neighborhood and I can get in a few extra rolls in the grass!

Drools to everyone. Woof!
FrankieB and his Mom, June
