"Also mopey, like Eeyore?" Bassets may look mopey, but I've found that mine rarely act that way. I often describe bassets as "sad on the outisde but happy on the inside." Obviously the person who did this piece was not a big basset lover!
 
Other than that, I was greatly entertained by the article. I would have changed breeds in a few cases, but it was very amusing. Thanks for sharing.
 
Oh, and if you've watched this series, you'll know that Bates has lots of things to be mopey about, unlike the bassets.
