[Dailydrool] Home for the Howlidays?

There are currently several older bassets in Droopy's care. All with different needs ( ex. no cats, single dog home preferred, experienced owner required ect.) These are sweet hounds who may have issues from the past life they've led. It is hard to find a home for a senior basset- folks want them young. If you adopt an older one, the likelyhood of saying 'good-bye' comes much sooner. But giving a home to a senior will reward you in ways you never thought of. They appreciate what you do for them~ they do not have the 'gimme because I expect it attitude' that the younger ones come with. If you have room and think you might be a good fit for one of these seniors~ please contact Judy Helfferich at Droopy Basset Rescue to meet one of the available hounds. Perhaps you can give a senior a home of their own in time for the Howlidays?
Perhaps you might be able to foster instead? If you've been thinking about~this is a great time to do something about it!
