I just voted and checked the totals and the unfortunate - sadly unevitable - 
thing has occurred.  We are now losing to A Labor of Love Dog Rescue in the 
Ohio contest.

As it was posted on the Drool several weeks ago, the reason this group is 
surging to the top is that the Cat Rescue that won the overall first prize 
during the last contest - and the first weekly prize during this one - has 
shifted it's support to them.  They obviously have a HUGE following - or at 
least figured out a way to REALLY maximize voting.

I hate to sound all doom and gloom here - but I only see ONE way to get our 
Ohio Basset buddies their $1000.00 this contest...

We need to shift OUR support to the Labor of Love as well.  This should 
effectively give the weekly prize of $1000.00 - if not the next one - the 
following one.  They will then be unable to win the state vote - period! 
Our existing votes should keep us on top to achieve the state prize - and as 
soon as they win - we go back to voting for Ohio Basset Hound Rescue to 
insure that.

Of course, if the three of us voting for them doesn't get them the Weekly 
Prize - we're toast!  But we are anyway as it stands.
