Julie, I remember when Shelby came to your home as a very elderly foster who
quickly decided she had found her home.  And sure enough, your family became
her family and you adopted her.  I loved hearing your stories about Shelby
because she reminded me of my dear old Gracie (who is getting a lot closer
to her own Bridge trip) and my other old ladies.  It's not always easy to
adopt the old-timers because they don't stay with you long, but it's a great
feeling to know that they knew how much they were loved, and that old or
not, they were wanted and they were special.  I'm so glad Shelby found you
and your family and had a wonderful last few years.  Safe journey sweet
girl.
