Hi all,
We have had a bit more sadness here.  Our Zoey, had started being very lethargic yesterday and stopped eating. We saw the vet first thing this morning. Dr Benson had a hard time even hearing her heartbeat, and said that it probably had a mass surrounding it. We opted not to go any further, since if there was one, nothing could be done and the other route only had her lined up for tests that would probably not give us any options. The vet felt like she was very tired and ready. Pat even felt that, and for her to feel that way is, well, I know it is time. Zoey had barely moved all night long, even urinating where she slept. We set her free, where I am sure she is running happily. You see, Zoey had neurological issues and had a hard time getting around....she did get around, but it was hard for her. Most the time, her head shook, but she had what we called Zoetitude. Yesterday, that left her, I think Pat and I both knew she had given up this morning. We
believe Mona sent us Zoey, as she came shortly after Mona passed away last Feb. And if Mona and Zoey get together to send us another one with walking issues, we will open our arms and welcome them too.

We are very sad tonight and hope you all will hugs all your hounds extra for us.   After losing Andrew this past weekend, well, as you would expect,  the wind has been knocked out of our sails.

Drool and hugs to all in need tonight…….Clara,  please close the gates for a bit!
Wen, Pat and the Bounders
