[Dailydrool] Elsinore says thank you

I sure didn't expect to receive so many comments in favor of our  
Elsinore's continuing to hunt down and murder innocent baby birds.  
But I must say that Elsinore's been quite gratified to hear that her  
peers feel she's performing a valuable a public service in making  
sure Darwin's law of natural selection remains the law of the land in  
her backyard.

Elsinore also appreciated Nigel's recipe suggestion. We have lots of  
squirrels in this neighborhood and a transformer at the end of the  
backyard, so her hopes are up now. I could have done without your  
serving suggestion, though. Trying to hang on to the back end of a  
fragile baby bird she was trying to swallow whole while it was still  
very much alive was bad enough, but to have to fish chunks of fried  
squirrel out of her unwilling mouth? No, thank you!
