Hi,
Have you tried Blue Pearl Clinic in Ann Arbor MI? they have a lot of
specialists...and it isn't too far from Sylvania. My Ruby had her malignant
parathyroid tumor removed by a surgical specialist there.
Dr melanie is excellant..she used to take care of my macaws...

Also-look into getting  a Care Credit card..it lets you have 6, 12 or 18
months interest free (if you pay the balance within the time frame) to help
pay for dog care. It saved me for Ruby's surgery..without it I could not
have had her surgery due to finances.

Also-my dogs eat breakfast between 2:30 am and 3:00 am. I have tried to get
them to eat later, feed them a snack before bed time about 10:00 and still
no go..they will not go back to sleep until they are fed...so I am too up
in the wee hours, filling food bowls, water bowls and moving as quick and
quietly as I can so we can all go back to bed...and then get up for work
and they can go back to sleep.  Love my girls!
