[Dailydrool] Riche's Wooden "treat"

I have read several articles saying that chewing sticks and other wood can be very bad for
dogs and cause abdominal obstructions or splinters in the mouth and throat, and other not
so savory, very expensive sounding problems.
That being said, I do believe treat makers are only out for the money and will sell anything
they think you will buy. My son bought my dogs some cooked bones, and gave them to the
dogs after his work one night, late. The next morning I found really, really sharp splinters and
shards of bone that could almost cut my hands! They were awful ! I was horrified that one of the
dogs would have a problem (which they didn't, thank heavens). But I watched them for about a week
to make sure and checked all their poo (great fun). I also told my son NEVER to buy those again.
I could not believe they were actually selling something like that, but they were.
