Yep we had an Airedale who loved window sills, stair steps. and also loved to tear down venetian blinds when he got caught in the string which of course was very dangerous. One day I had the bright idea of putting him in the basement cuz Dazey was in heat.
I also put a mattress in there too for his comfort.  I came  home to two live dogs and the mattress was reduced to pure springs.
Next time it was boarding at vets.        Live and learn.

I actually got rather good  at replacing the sills.
