[Dailydrool] Janie Anne's 11th

Once again I would like to inform everyone that my best friend, constant
companion and the dearest Basset who ever was (my opinion of course), is
celebrating her Birthday today.  Yes, Janie Anne is 11 today, 17 August.
We did the dreaded pre-Birthday visit to Dr. Jeri yesterday, where Janie
got 3 shots and a general check-up.
As Janie gets older, she seems to be getting more and more bumps and
lumps.  Jeri looked at a bunch of them and only one seemed to cause her any
concern.  We will keep a close eye on that one, so any extra drool would be
appreciated.  She also has a molar which isn't looking too good, so it
looks like a dental will be in her future.  I just hope the stock market
goes up a little so we can afford it.
Janie is always a good "trooper" when she sees Dr. Jeri.  She allows all
the poking, prodding, shots, nail trimming and the unladylike anal
expression, with the class she always shows.
So we would like everyone to share in our happiness today.  Give your
pup/pups an extra hug and kisses from us and even an extra treat if you
don't mind.

Every day I have with Janie Anne I consider to be a Blessing.  She has
brightened my life and I know she has made me a better person.  Thank you,
my little Angel in fur!
I only hope and pray that we will have many more happy, healthy, secure
years growing older together.

Of course i include my little hellion Siobhan. She's doing just fine and we
will celebrate her Birthday next month.

As always our prayers and drool go out to all who have suffered a loss or
sickness.  Our prayers especially go out to Norma's John and to Debbie.
Seems like our prayers are getting just a little longer each week.

Finally special prayers go out to Jackie Chazey.  We pray that God will
give her the strength to overcome all of her troubles.  We know she is
doing her best to care for JP and Max and will do everything possible for
them.
