My other plea isn't basset related however I am pulling all the resources that I know of to have this miracle happen.  As some of you know my only brother 51 was diagnosed with a rare form of stomach/gastro cancer just after his 50th birthday.  He has been battling this for over a year now.  He has had his ups and downs and right now it's not the best.  Doc's are really not sure how to stop this crap from spreading anymore.  Massive doses of chemo has helped slow down the progress but it almost killed him a few months back.  He was told yesterday that this mass (it's within his abdominal wall they think as a liquid that hardens with the chemo) is now pushing on part of his stomach and lower intestine causing him issues with eating - he can eat but he also gets sick often because of it.....right now all are at a loss as to next steps - for surgery at this time is out of the question for fear it will spread faster because of the form of it.....all I know is I don't want to lose my brother and I send a heart felt request for tons of drool to aid him in his battle - to allow this horrid cancer to just stop and allow him to see his son graduate from college and to enjoy our "older years"  - The girls keep sending drool but he needs so much more....I thank you all for allowing me to share.....Cancer sucks......
