If Anita's suggestion of canned cat food does not work, you can ask your vet
if he can have a liquid alternative to the pills compounded at a pharmacy.
Cats are notorious for not taking pills and the Vet that I work for has a
lot of cat medications compounded as liquid medications because it is easier
to give them to cats. Either put the liquid in a syringe and squirt it down
the throat or mix it in with wet food.
