[Dailydrool] Happy birthday, Bo, Harley, and Odell of Hawaii

March 17th is the tenth birthday of Bo and Harley of the Big Island, Hawaii, (Val Brewer) and Odell of Oahu, Hawaii. (Kim Slagel). Brothers from an unexpected Basset litter born in naval housing (to a soon to deploy owner)'  these pups and a few others made the rounds of one family after another,passed along as each new family deployed, before settling Into forever homes. Odell was adopted from the dog pound after a brief stint as a feral Basset hound, Bo was adopted from a newspaper ad, and Harley from Craigslist a few years later after flunking out of six prior homes (separation anxiety and an insistence on being treated right). All three landed not only on their feet but in the laps and hearts of their forever Basset slaves. Happy birthday, boys.
