[Dailydrool] Pudding Poop & Sauerkraut

Daisy (7 mo) has had pudding poop for the 3 months that I have had her. (yech!) I tried pumpkin and it made a tiny difference but I had to give her a lot and just ended up with a little firmer pudding. Then I completely changed her food but saw no change in the poops. Then I read the recent discussion on the Drool about probiotic supplements and thought -- hmmm maybe she needs some probiotics. I ferment my own cabbage to make sauerkraut for probiotics  because I gave up dairy and no longer get them from yogurt. I try to have some every day. So I decided to give Daisy some sauerkraut with her kibble. It worked like a charm. The next poop I saw after her first dose of homemade sauerkraut was a soft log. I have been giving her a little with every meal for a week and she is producing perfectly fine poops.
