Adm. and new crewmate Foxy (Golden Gate Basset Rescue foster serving an
indeterminate tour of duty on HMS Certifable) ran in circles in the
backyard and bwiffled, bwarked and wuffed their happiness at the news that
Elvis is pulling through!

Huzzah! Hurrah! To Bassitude courage, Ship's Surgeons, faithful
Houndservants like Bill and crew!!!!

We are so relieved. Really.

Houndservant cannot refrain from stating unequivocally that pestiferous
food from China should be BANNED from these shores. It is just too bloody
wrong that we cannot sue the importer and the maker of whatever hurt Elvis.
This is not the first time Houndservant has heard of pets killed this way.
It is WRONG. How hard would it be to mark every package with China-sourced
ingredients "MADE IN CHINA" in big block letters? Whatever happened to
truth in advertising?

Houndservant just switched entire crew to The Honest Kitchen brand of chow
IN LARGE PART because the box states in BIG LETTERS that there's nothing in
there from China. Plus the ingredients are taste-tested by the people who
make it. That says something, right there.

(Houndservant knows there are other good foods out there, simply giving an
attaboy for Honest Kitchen.)

Crew loves the new food, literally licks it up--and Foxy's terrible skin
allergy is starting to clear up.  Houndservant attributes to Keen.
