The summer XB and I turned 3 we went on a little adventure. The slaves were getting ready to go out for an early dinner on a Saturday afternoon and the dadslave was puttering around by the back gate that goes into the woods behind out house. He decided to get some more rocks for the garden. Since he saw no hounds he pushed the gate closed but didn’t latch it. Now at the time there were only the 3 Bears. Well XB and I decided to go out and have a look around. Moosie Bear was asleep on the couch and the blondeslave was upstairs. Hmmm…XB and I looked at each other and I said, “Why is the dadslave on the other side of the fence? We’d better go see if he needs some help.” When the dadslave turned around he saw XB and HB on the WRONG side of the fence heading through the woods having pushed the gate open. He runs to the gate and latches it so Moosie can’t follow and begins to chase us. Oh what fun! He’s running and yelling trying to keep the 2 of us in sight. He catches up with XB who isn’t so keen on this adventure anymore and takes his belt off and hooks it to her leash. He’s panicking now certain that if he does not come back with both escapees the blondeslave is likely to…well, we won’t go there. I’m staying just far enough ahead of him that he can’t catch me running through back yards through the neighborhood. One neighbor saw the dadslave and XB chasing me through the yards and called the police to tell them that, “Some nut was running through everyone’s back yards chasing a dog.” More on that later. Meanwhile back at the ranch the blondeslave is ready to go out to dinner. She comes downstairs calling the dadslave. No answer. She ventures further. No hounds in the living room or upstairs. Moosie is by himself on the couch and no hounds or dadslave in the backyard or front yard. She’s now starting to freak out-where could they be?
