Hounds Haven Basset Rescue is active. Their website is houndshavenbassetrescue.com
HHBR covers Iowa and parts of Missouri. 
Jess'e Potts is the main contact. Her email is jessie.potts at mchsi.com or admin at houndshavenbassetrescue.com

Guardian Angel Basset Rescue is still active. The website is basset rescue.org
Larry Little (larry at larrylittle.net) or Emmy Little (emmy at emmylittle.net) are the main contacts. Larry handles the business side and Emmy handles the dog side. 

Both rescues have Facebook pages.
