[Dailydrool] Debbie Winchester

I have had a long talk with Sandi Wittenberg who talked to Wayne. I had
been unable to get ahold of either Debbie or Wayne for several days.
The reason, as it turns out, is that Debbie has taken a turn for the worse
and was re-hospitalized on Wednesday.
Nothing is working quite right. All her stats are off, her heart rate up,
her BP down. Blood sugar up, Liver values off, etc etc. I don't even know
all the details. She couldn't eat, she couldn't stay awake. Nothing was
right so the doctor ordered her back to the hospital.

Debbie has made the choice to go into Hospice care. This means that once
she gets home, which they believe will be in the middle of this coming
week, she will be kept comfortable but will forego further treatment.

Please continue to send cards and prayers, and keep the good thoughts and
prayers coming.  Wayne says he is not happy about the decision but will
certainly do everything he can to keep Debbie comfortable and happy. So,
don't forget Wayne in your thoughts and prayers, either. Maybe we can turn
this thing around, yet.
