I gotta make this quick, 'cause my nails don't do so hot on the 
keyboard. Someday, some human will make a board that fits basset 
paws....



The mama has been sick for a week now, feeling lower than a snake's 
navel, and now says she thinks she has pneumonia. Crabby doesn't begin 
to cover it. Care for hounds has slipped too, since the male human has 
also been sick (though he seems to be getting better). Because I do not 
do outness with him, mama has been taking me out when she can drag up 
the strength. I'll just say it's not a pretty picture. 


On top of that, today we are all so cold, 'cause the heater thing is 
having trouble. Not good for the sick mama to be living in 64 degree 
weather indoors. 


Could you send drool and prayers my mama's way? She's been to the doctor 
and will be calling him again today.
