[Dailydrool] Looking for Collective Drool Knowledge on Von Willebrands

​Houndservant wishes to know if anyone in Drool land has had, or has, a
beastie with Von Willebrand's disease (blood won't clot).

GGBR has a 2-year-old rescue just diagnosed with pestiferous condition.
There does not seem to be much by way of detail on the web, other than the
comment that dogs with Von Willebrand's can live for years.

Hannah (the rescue) has blood in her urine that resists clearing up. She
has definitely tested positive for Von Willebrands. The big complicating
factor is that her left leg (both front legs, really) is a terrible twisted
mess. If not for the Von Willebrands, she is a candidate for surgery to
straighten it out. She already has a hard time walking.

Any anecdotal info on Von Willebrands would be most appreciated.
