[Dailydrool] Rolph, an update

We went and saw the vet lady this morning.

the good news is the anal gland infection has cleared up, but she agreed he wan't "quite right" around there, being inflamed and tender,

She did a lot of physical checks - flip test, spread test, reverse walking on hind legs - and it is clear he has some problem with his right hip.
She thinks this is stopping him being able to squat properly, therefore interfering with the mechanics of pooing and emptying his anal glands.
 
He is on pain killers for a week to see if things improve.If they don't we will have to seriously think about the next step, which might mean investigations of his spine.
