[Dailydrool] Heart dog

Of all the dogs we've rescued, adopted, etc, over the last 20 yrs, I've only had one heart dog.  Morning Glory was a little scruffy keeshond.  She reminded me of Pig Pen in Peanuts...........always twigs  and leaves in her coat.  She was supposed to be a pure kees, but I had my doubt.........she was too short, body too long, ears on side of her head.  But she was my baby, only lived with us for4 yrs before she died.  But it's taken me over 10 yrs. to even talk about her without tears.  My family says they knew when we got back from picking her up that she was here for good!  She knew too.  She was one of 6 keeshonden plus a basset and a couple pugs and 2 kittieswe had at the time.......all bigger than her...........but she ruled the house.  I have her cremains in my closet, to be mixed with mine when the time comes.  I would only admit this to other dog lovers who fully understand.  Bev2
